CHR alarmed on impact of Mt. Kanlaon on classes

The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) on Tuesday raised concern over the disruption of classes caused by Mt. Kanlaon’s volcanic activity.

Citing data from the Department of Education, CHR said 1,403 learners and school personnel in Canlaon and La Castellana, Negros Occidental, were directly affected.
