THE city government of Manila is ready to showcase a resilient and inclusive atmosphere as it hosts 44th ASEAN Summit next year.
Vice Mayor Chi Atienza emphasized Manila’s commitment to the “three-fold tenets of building a sustainable, inclusive, and innovative city.”

“The ASEAN vision for a resilient, innovative, dynamic, and people-centred community is not just a slogan for us, it is a commitment that we are living out in our cities,” Atienza said.
The city council’s presiding officer spoke during the closing of the five-day ASEAN Governors and Mayors Forum (AGMF).
