Lotus Philippines, under Autohub, has announced the debut of the 2025 Emira range for the Philippine market wherein the new roster features the Emira Turbo, Emira Turbo SE, and Emira V6. These upgrades replace the previous First Edition variants and bring a fresh wave of performance and design refinements.

The highlight of the update is the Emira Turbo SE, a new performance flagship that boasts increased power and torque, making it the fastest Emira to date. With a 400 bhp 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Turbo SE achieves 0-100 km/h in a mere 4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 290 km/h.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of new variants to the award-winning Emira, one of the most successful Lotus models to date,” stated Dan Balmer, President & CEO, Lotus Cars – Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa. “In 2025, the Emira range will extend to meet wider customer needs while retaining the brand’s DNA and driving dynamics Lotus is renowned for.”

The Emira Turbo, powered by a 360 bhp 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, and the Emira V6, retaining its 400 bhp supercharged 3.5-liter engine, offer drivers a choice of performance characteristics. The V6 is available with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, while the Turbo models feature the 8-speed DCT.

The Emira Turbo SE stands out with its standard Lotus Drivers Pack, including sports suspension, uprated cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs, and launch control. Design enhancements for the Turbo SE include 20-inch V-spoke forged Satin Grey wheels, Zinc Grey paint, Alcantara headliner, and distinctive black Lotus branding.

The Emira Turbo features new 20-inch 10-spoke lightweight cast alloy wheels, “Emira Turbo” branding, and standard foot pedals, while the Emira V6 retains its core features, including cross-drilled and ventilated two-piece brake discs and a limited-slip differential for manual models.

The 2025 Emira lineup is available in the Philippines, with pricing as follows:

• Emira V6: PHP 12.5 million

• Emira Turbo: PHP 12 million

• Emira Turbo SE: PHP 12.25 million

The naming of the new models reflects Lotus’s rich history. “Turbo” harkens back to the 1980 Turbo Esprit, while “SE” (Special Equipment) pays homage to earlier Lotus models like the Elite and Elan, signifying higher output and increased equipment levels. Lotus emphasizes that the new Emira range continues to deliver the brand’s signature blend of striking design, thrilling dynamics, and exceptional handling.
