The MINITEEN Pop-Up store at SM Mall of Asia is drawing CARATs from across the country, eager to get their hands on exclusive Seventeen merchandise and experience the event’s fan-centered atmosphere.
For Cebu-based fan Reyna, no distance or budget could stop her from making the trip to the MINITEEN Pop-Up store at SM Mall of Asia.
The devoted CARAT, who has been following SEVENTEEN since 2017, arrived in Manila after a whirlwind journey that included a stop in Nueva Ecija. Her budget? Initially ₱20,000, but she admitted it could go as high as ₱35,000 once she saw the merchandise in person.
Opened on Friday, Aug. 15, the pop-up offers rare collectibles and items with strong sentimental value for fans. Here are five reasons it has become a must-visit spot for Seventeen enthusiasts.

Highly sought-after merchandise
The pop-up features a range of fan-favorite items, including plushies each representing members. These designs are not always available in regular releases, making them especially coveted by collectors and fans who want to represent their favorite members or even introduce the group to younger fans at home.
Emotional connection with Seventeen
For many CARATs, other than doing a shopping trip, it is also a way to celebrate a group that has provided comfort and joy over the years. Seventeen’s music and personalities provide healing for fans like Reyna, helping them through difficult times without their knowledge.
A sense of belonging
Seventeen holds a special place in their fans’ hearts, often likened to their homes. This sense of community and connection between the group and CARATs is brought to life by the pop-up.
Support for biases
The excitement comes from purchasing merchandise representing a fan’s bias or bias wrecker. CARATs show loyalty and appreciation by owning items tied to specific Seventeen members. Some buy items for friends or family members with their favorites, making the visit a shared celebration of individual connections to Seventeen.
Philippine-exclusive items
The store offers a selection of products available only in the Philippines, such as the flask, luggage, tag, and griptok. These limited-edition items are impossible to find elsewhere, making them essential for fans who value rare, location-specific collectibles.
The MINITEEN Pop-Up Manila runs until Sept. 28.
