Manghano was shot dead on Jan. 11 last year at the Freedom Park in Tagum.

Tiu identified the suspected gunman as Sherwin Barrot, 32, of Esmeralda, Apokon, Tagum.

Barrot was nabbed after a bullet from his Colt MK IV pistol matched a slug retrieved from the crime scene.

Police said the victim was not satisfied of the development of her annulment plea and decided to terminate the lawyer’s services, asking for a refund of professional fees.
