Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Social Housing Finance Corp. President and CEO Federico Laxa lead the awarding of a check to the Bagong Pag-asa Neighborhood Association of Parada Inc. under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program. Through the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program, the project in Barangay Parada, Valenzuela City, allows more than 200 members to acquire land they have sought to own for decades. The initiative secures their tenure and promotes long-term community stability without displacement.
