Economic corridor

Department of Finance Undersecretary Ma. Angela Ignacio (second from left) leads the Philippine delegation at the 4th Luzon Economic Corridor (LEC) Steering Committee Meeting. The committee reviewed substantial progress across key priority sectors, including energy, transport and logistics, digital connectivity and advanced manufacturing and aligned on priorities for the next phase of the initiative. Together with valued partner countries that have joined the initiative, the Philippines, US and Japan reaffirmed their shared commitment to accelerate progress and broaden the corridor’s strategic impact.
