With a life-size replica of the Nativity still intact, Alfonso town in Cavite is giving Tagaytay City a run for its money in terms of local tourism, having logged over 500,000 in tourist traffic last year. Mayor Randy Salamat views the development as ‘proof that the natural beauty, cool climate, and attractions in the town are continuously recognized and becoming more prominent.’
