Newport World Resorts’ education arm Academy for Leisure and Tourism (ALT) partners with the Department of Education (DepEd) for Enhanced Work Immersion Program. The integrated resort signed the accession agreement for DepEd’s program, formally joining a national pilot initiative, in partnership with the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) and the Private Sector Jobs and Skills Corporation (PCORP). The agreement positions ALT as an industry partner in providing world-class hospitality training for senior high school students.
