The Bureau of Customs (BOC) said Wednesday it collected P84.43 billion in revenue in March 2026, surpassing its target by P1.19 billion.
The monthly collection was 1.4 percent higher than the agency’s P83.24 billion goal. The figure also reflected a 5.1-percent increase compared with the P80.36 billion collected in the same period in 2025.
Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno said the sustained revenue growth will support the funding of public services, infrastructure projects, and social programs.
“Every peso we collect goes directly to programs that will improve the lives of our countrymen. This is the true measure of our service—a government that cares, is accountable, and has real benefits for the people,” Nepomuceno said.
The agency attributed the performance to ongoing reforms focused on digitalization, transparency and ease of doing business.
The bureau said it is also implementing an integrity and modernization program to maintain its collection momentum.
