Same store sales growth (SSSG) for Puregold stores increased 4.1 percent due to larger basket sizes, while S&R Warehouse Club SSSG grew 6.1 percent behind higher foot traffic.

“Our record-breaking earnings underscore the resilience of our core businesses with the aim at providing our target customers the best value, even amid challenging market conditions,” Puregold president Ferdinand Vincent Co said.

The company continued its aggressive footprint expansion in 2025 by opening 28 new Puregold stores, 3 S&R Membership Shopping Warehouses and 9 S&R New York Style QSRs. It also completed the acquisition of 153 Puremart stores during the period.

As of end-2025, the retailer was operating 784 stores nationwide. This included 680 Puregold stores, 33 S&R Membership Shopping Warehouses and 71 S&R New York Style QSRs.

The company plans to focus on accelerating store expansion in key provincial markets to broaden its reach and enhance customer accessibility.

Co said the strategy is intended to position the company for sustained long-term growth and value creation.

The board of directors approved a 30-percent regular dividend payout of P1.18 per share, totaling P3.4 billion, for shareholders of record as of April 17, 2026. A 20-percent special dividend of P0.79 per share, totaling P2.27 billion, was approved for shareholders of record as of Aug. 17, 2026.

The total dividend payout of P5.67 billion represents an 8.8-percent increase from the previous year and reflects a dividend yield of 4.925 percent.

The payments will be funded from the company’s unrestricted retained earnings as of Dec. 31, 2025.
