Light Fuels Corp., the retail fuel subsidiary of listed Top Line Business Development Corp., was recognized as an Outstanding Liquid Fuels Retail Outlet by the Department of Energy’s Visayas Field Office on Dec. 10. The award underscores the company’s consistent compliance with regulatory standards in product quality, safety protocols, operational discipline and customer service.
The DOE recognition reinforces Light Fuels’ institutional credibility and demonstrates its ability to meet and sustain standards required by regulatory authorities. It is expected to support smoother coordination with regulators in routine compliance matters and future applications for permits, accreditations and approvals related to new station development.
“Having commenced operations just five years ago, this recognition affirms that our systems, processes and operating discipline are aligned with regulatory expectations,” said Brigitte Carmel Lapasaran Lim, senior vice president and chief operating officer. “As we continue to upgrade acquired sites and expand our network, the award further strengthens our engagement with regulators and supports a more efficient permitting process.”
By meeting regulatory benchmarks, Light Fuels positions itself as a responsible operator delivering reliable fuel solutions to underserved market segments in the Visayas region.
Light Fuels currently has more than 50 stations in various stages of development, supporting Top Line’s broader vertical integration strategy.
