Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) turned over 56 brand-new trucks to Producers Connection Logistics Inc. (PCL), strengthening the logistics company’s fleet and supporting its operational growth, the companies announced.
The acquisition includes 22 FVM and 2 FVR units from Isuzu’s heavy-duty F-Series and 12 NMR and 20 NLR trucks from the versatile N-Series.
“Isuzu has always been committed to helping businesses succeed through dependable vehicles and comprehensive aftersales programs. We are proud to partner with PCL as they strengthen their fleet to meet growing logistics demands,” said IPC president Mikio Tsukui said.
The F-Series trucks feature Euro IV-compliant Blue Power diesel engines, reinforced chassis, high axle capacity and spacious cabs for long-haul and bulk transport.
The N-Series models are designed for maneuverability and fuel efficiency, with features such as Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), Eco Mode and ergonomic seats for driver comfort.
To meet PCL’s specialized logistics needs, Isuzu collaborated with Centro Manufacturing Corporation for truck bodies and refrigerated cooling systems, offering complete solutions for dry and cold-chain operations.
“Our decision to partner with Isuzu reflects our commitment to operational excellence. Isuzu’s proven reliability and strong after-sales support give us confidence that our fleet will remain in peak condition, ensuring uninterrupted service for our clients,” said PCL president and chief executive Arturo Villanueva Jr.
PCL, formerly Nuville Corp., has been a logistics partner since 1983, providing warehousing, transport, value-added services and energy management.
The company operates facilities in Pasig, Muntinlupa, Manila, Canlubang, Cavite, Parañaque, Batangas, Danao, Cebu, Vietnam and Dubai.
