Top Line’s income up 9.3% in third quarter

Cebu-based Top Line Business Development Corp. said Thursday it sustained its strong growth momentum in the first nine months of 2025, with net income climbing 21.1 percent to P109.57 million from P90.51 million in the same period last year.

The company attributed the performance to triple-digit growth in retail fuel sales and double-digit expansion in commercial fuel trading. Gross revenues for the nine-month period rose 26.9 percent year-on-year to P3.09 billion from P2.44 billion.

Third-quarter income increased 9.3 percent year-on-year to P32.7 million from P29.9 million. Gross revenues for the quarter were P1.12 billion, up 28.3 percent from P872.9 million previously.

The retail segment, through subsidiary Light Fuels Corp., saw the most dramatic increase of 282 percent in third-quarter revenues to P68.1 million from P17.8 million a year ago. Commercial fuel trade, the company’s primary revenue driver, contributed P1.1 billion in revenues, a 23 percent increase from P855 million.

Total liquid fuel sales volume in the third quarter climbed 24.7 percent to 24.32 million liters from 19.66 million liters in the same period last year.
