AbaCore Capital Holdings Inc. (PSE: ABA) announced it has received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to proceed with the distribution of its previously declared property and cash dividends to shareholders of record as of June 28, 2022.
The company received the Certificate of filing of the notice of property dividend declaration dated Oct. 8, 2025, from the SEC on Oct. 16, 2025.
This allows AbaCore to distribute property dividends amounting to P376,734,100 and cash dividends totaling P41,859,341.
The property dividend represents 3,767,341 common shares of AbaCore’s wholly owned subsidiary, Philippine Regional Investment Development Corporation (PRIDE), with a par value of P100 per share. The declared cash dividend, amounting to at least P41.86 million, will also cover fractional shares arising from the property dividend allocation.
PRIDE’s book value was P360.98 per share at the time of the stock declaration on June 3, 2022, which has since increased to P405.17 per share as of Dec. 31, 2023. This reflects a growth of about 305 percent above par value.
AbaCore is processing the settlement of applicable taxes and securing the certificate authorizing registration (CAR) from the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Payment and distribution dates will be announced after these requirements are completed. Following the announcement, the cash dividends will be disbursed and the certificates representing PRIDE shares will be issued.
