Havitas Developments Corporation chairman and co-founder Alejandro Sangil Mañalac received the 2025 Outstanding Professional Award in the real estate service category from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Mañalac was among the outstanding professionals in different fields recognized by the PRC, the Philippine Association of the Professional Regulatory Board Members Inc. (PAPRB) and the PRC Commission.
The PRC’s highest award, the Outstanding Professional of the Year Award (OPYA), is given to professionals who have demonstrated proficiency, authenticity and integrity and who have been endorsed by their peers.
The OPYA honors professionals from four clusters: business, education and social; engineering; health and allied; and technology.
A real estate professional for more than 30 years, Mañalac has experience in selling and in training new leaders as a top executive of major real estate corporations. He was among the first real estate professionals to obtain a license under the PRC when the RESA Law was promulgated. He has also taken courses on real estate appraisal and consultancy.
An International Realtor member, he holds the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation from the National Association of Realtors in the United States.
A consistent sales champion at various companies throughout his career, Manalac serves as a sales and marketing consultant for several developers. He has represented the Philippines at international real estate conferences, where he built a global network.
Manalac’s advisory services are sought by investors seeking good deals and by developers for project concepts, sales strategies and sales force training.
Currently, he is the chairman and co-founder of Havitas Developments Corporation and the operating principal of Keller Williams Manila Bay. He was recently named Asia’s Iconic Realtor at Asia’s Golden Icons Awards for his dedication and commitment to the real estate industry.
Mañalac is also the founder of RealEstateNews.PH, where he continues to inspire new generations of real estate professionals.
The award ceremony was held on Sept. 6, 2025, at the Manila Hotel, coinciding with the PRC’s 52nd founding anniversary.
PRC chairperson Charito Zamora said this year’s theme, “Pride in Service, Respect for Duty, Commitment to Professional Excellence,” resonates with every profession.
Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma was the event’s guest speaker.
