DigiPlus Interactive Corp., a listed company which operates digital entertainment platforms like BingoPlus and ArenaPlus, on Thursday reported a net income of P8.4 billion in the first half of 2025, a 61-percent increase from the same period last year.
The company said its revenue grew 47 percent to P47.78 billion from P32.56 billion a year ago, led by growth in its retail games, new product offerings and operational efficiencies.
The said the new games and licenses approved by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (PAGCOR) also contributed to the increased business activity.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) reached P9.09 billion, up 65 percent from P5.51 billion a year ago.
Second-quarter net income hit P4.20 billion, a 30 percent year-on-year increase. Revenues rose 31 percent to P24.71 billion, and EBITDA grew 32 percent to P4.50 billion.
DigiPlus was included in the Fortune 500 Southeast Asia list for the second consecutive year and was named Digital Operator of the Year at the 2025 Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific.
DigiPlus said that on Aug. 7, 2025, it joined the Interim Council of the PlaySafe Alliance of the Philippines, which was signed by 19 founding organizations.
“This alliance is not about competition—it’s about collaboration,” said DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco, a founding member of the alliance.
“By working as one, we can ensure that online gambling in the Philippines becomes more secure, transparent and beneficial to both players and the nation,” said Tanco.
