DigiPlus Interactive, through its BingoPlus Foundation, said it committed P100 million in 2024 to support education, disaster relief and livelihood programs, benefiting over 120,000 Filipinos.
The foundation launched “PLUS Centers” nationwide, providing free internet access, digital literacy training and educational resources to underserved communities, DigiPlus said.
These centers aim to provide learning spaces for students and job seekers.
Its “PLUS Factor Scholarship Program” provides full scholarships, financial aid and mentorship to more than 60 students in STEM, business and digital innovation fields, the company said.
Following Typhoon Kristine, DigiPlus said it allocated P37 million in emergency aid, including relief, rebuilding support and livelihood assistance to affected communities.
The foundation also invests in livelihood programs, providing training and resources for economic independence, DigiPlus said.
“True success is measured not just by business growth, but by the impact we make in people’s lives,” DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco said in a statement.
“Through the BingoPlus Foundation, we are empowering scholars, bridging the digital divide, rebuilding communities, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities,” said Tanco.
