More than 170 families previously living in precarious conditions along Manila’s waterways begin moving into their permanent homes on April 30, 2026, ending years of uncertainty through a government-led socialized housing initiative. The Social Housing Finance Corp. (SHFC) turned over an initial 35 units of the San Miguel de Manila Residences to members of the Jesse M. Robredo Village Homeowners’ Association Inc. The project in Barangay San Miguel operates under the President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
