Jupheter Franco of General Santos City was recently crowned The Man of The Philippines 2024, becoming the first winner in a reality series male pageant.
The Man of the Philippines 2024 pageant veered away from the usual one-night coronation finals by holding its 4th edition in a reality series format, where all the 17 candidates were housed for ten competition days, at Forest Crest Nature Hotel and Resort in Batulao, Nasugbu, Batangas.
Presenting the male pageant as a reality series allowed the audience to have a deeper understanding of the aspirants’ backgrounds, struggles, and journeys, making it not just a contest of physical attributes, but also a celebration of personal stories and character.
“It’s a great way to connect with the audience on a more personal level and make the pageant experience more meaningful for everyone involved,” said producer Gilbs Espiritu, head of Star Realms Entertainment Production.
Franco, 27, is a model and a host. The 6-foot Mechanical Engineer graduate previously won Great Man of the Universe Education and Sports 2023. He worked as an ambassador of Batang Star Philippines, an organization that provides humanitarian and development help for vulnerable children. He is also a volunteer of Voluntary Service Overseas, a charity that works through professional volunteers sharing their skills and expertise to help find long-term solutions to poverty.
An advocate for education, Franco has spoken in front of out-of-school youth, youth advocates, and street children, on the value of education as a way to alleviate their lives for a better future.
During the victory press conference in Makati, Franco expressed his hope that the platform would empower people to recognize our shared humanity, inspiring others to pursue their dreams and create a better future for everyone.
Franco, crowned Mister Continental Word Philippines 2024, is set to represent the country in Mister Continental World, taking place from May 30 to June 3, in Pattaya, Thailand.
His court of honor includes Rhenzwin Corpus, Sharuen Hafeel, and Jhun Lloyd Villagracia..

Tourism student vies for Mister Fitness Model World crown in Vietnam
Mister Fitness Supermodel World Philippines 2024 Godfrey Nikolai Murillo is now in Vung Tau City, Vietnam, competing in the 2nd edition of Miss & Mister Fitness Model World 2024, with the finals set on Monday, May 20.
Murillo, a 20-year-old Tourism Management student of La Consolacion College, from Macabebe, Pampanga, has some pressure on his shoulders, after fellow reigning Misters of Filipinas kings, Mister Teenager Universe Philippines 2023 Lloyd Figueras, and Mister Man Hot Star Philippines 2023 RJ De Vera, successfully brought home the titles in their respective international competitions.
Murillo, competing with Kirsten Dawn Delerio on the distaff side of the pageant, was named in the Top 3 of the national costume competition. Both Murillo and Delerio topped the two-week, online contest “Road to Miss & Mister Fitness Supermodel World 2024,” with Murillo garnering 1,100 votes.
