Among the athletes who are set to participate in this global competition are Philippine representatives and Team Skate Pilipinas members Sebastian Chanco and Rydelle Abarico.

Abarico, who is currently ranked as the third fastest downhill skateboarder in the world, recently won her first gold medal at the women’s finals of the Tropical Downhill Race in Thailand.

The equally talented Chanco achieved an impressive 4th-place finish in the men’s category of the same event.
