A total of 1,506 pieces of assorted Unexploded Ordnance (UXOs), Explosive Remnants of War (ERWs), Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), and other deadly explosive materials, with an estimated Net Explosive Weight (NEW) of 362 lbs (164 kgs), capable of inflicting severe injuries or death to 100 or more people, were meticulously disposed of through a series of controlled detonations.

The presence of the explosive materials, predominantly vintage bombs from the last World War and other recovered explosive devices, posed an imminent threat to the surrounding community, as they held the power to cause catastrophic harm or claim countless lives in the event of an accidental explosion.

Police BGen. Albert Magno guided a team of highly trained experts who fearlessly and meticulously executed the disposal operation.
