Television actor Ruru Madrid was elated upon learning that he will star alongside Matteo Guidicelli in the upcoming action-drama series Black Rider. He expressed his honor and excitement to work with Matteo, whom he has admired for his passion and accomplishments.
“Actually, I was surprised when he mentioned it during his press conference for his comeback to GMA,” he avers. “It’s a huge honor for me. I’ve been watching him even during the times when he was on the rival channel. And now that he’s back here in the Kapuso, I’m very excited to work with him.”
“I really do hope that our dynamics in the show won’t just be as co-workers but as friends,” Ruru shared further stating that he has already started his motorcycle training for his character in the show.
This new project presents a fresh challenge for Ruru after his successful lead role in Lolong. He sees himself being developed as an action star, with more action projects lined up, including the sequel to the top-rating series.
“Every project that my home studio entrusts me with is a challenge. Of course, there is pressure but what prevails more is excitement. This is my dream after all, so I really enjoy and love it,” he says.
Ruru is determined to meet the expectations of the public and prove his worth in every project given by GMA.
“I don’t want to fail the public’s expectation of me. So, I want to prove to all and sundry that I am deserving of every project that GMA gives me,” ends Ruru.

In a recent TV interview, Arjo Atayde confirmed that he and Maine Mendoza have plans to get married in July but opted to keep the details private.
He expressed his enjoyment of the planning stage and emphasized that they are excited about their big day.
“We are enjoying every bit of this planning stage. I’m really enjoying myself with her. Yes, I’m excited about it but as I’ve said, we can’t reveal the details. Hopefully, in time,” he said.
Arjo disclosed that the wedding would take place within the year and asserted that there is no turning back. He shared that his connection with Maine felt genuine and clicked from the moment they met.
Arjo described their relationship as his own fairy tale and expressed their happiness and emotional readiness for the journey ahead.
“We all have this imagination of when you’ll meet that person one day. I can’t explain but it just really clicked. There’s no slow motion like how it comes in fairy tales, but it is my fairy tale,” he stated.
“That’s how it is to me. It’s very sincere. Everything came unexpectedly. I guess, the timing is perfect. I can say that both of us are very happy and emotionally ready,” Arjo ended.
