Jobseekers who are Smart, Sun and TNT subscribers can now search and apply for jobs, access apps and sites inside the freenet app free of data charges.
The initiative to make work opportunities more accessible to Filipinos with the freenet app was made possible through a collaboration between FindWork and Voyager Innovations, the digital innovations arm of PLDT and Smart Communications.
“We are continually improving FindWork in the best ways possible. This partnership with Voyager Innovations and it’s freenet app makes the FindWork app accessible to everyone, especially workers in the blue collar and service industry whom may not subscribe to data plans. Hopefully, we will help millions of jobseekers find the best match for their career goals. FindWork Philippines is truly delighted to partner with Voyager Innovations,” said Kevin Williams, co-founder of FindWork.
FindWork country manager Rommel Torres said: “My personal and FindWork’s visions are the same. Opening up work opportunities to deserving Filipino talents whom may be in need.”
Heidi Garayblas, the head of integrated marketing of freenet expressed her excitement on the partnership. “We are happy to make more job opportunities within reach of our users by making FindWork available on freenet. This is one way for us to give the best and most rewarding mobile internet experience to our users and we’re looking forward to offering them access to more useful apps like FindWork, and rewards that will make their experience worthwhile,” she said.
The partnership with Voyager Innovations’ freenet makes FindWork more accessible and easier to download for Filipinos nationwide. This collaboration is also expected to kickstart FindWork usage in the Philippines.
The FindWork and freenet apps are both available on the Google Play Store.
