Confidence matters because it helps you trust yourself, take risks, speak up, and recover from setbacks.
For rising star Kai Montinola, confidence is shaped by one’s upbringing and the support system that surrounds them.
“I’m proud and fortunate to say I grew up confident,” the 18-year-old Montinola said. “It starts with your environment — your guardians, your family, and how you’re raised.”
Montinola, introduced as the new face of Hebeskin, shared how confidence can still be developed later in life.
“If you weren’t raised in an environment that nurtured it, start by believing in yourself before judging yourself,” Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11 4th placer said. “Even I have moments when I question if I’m deserving. It’s humbling.”
The model and influencer made the remarks during the launch of Hebeskin’s CurvWhyt Coffee on May 14 at Incanta Cave Bar. Themed “Bloom Like a Goddess,” the event highlighted the brand’s focus on beauty rooted in wellness and self-assurance.
CurvWhyt Coffee is positioned as a wellness product that supports metabolism, improves skin appearance, and encourages a confident mindset. Montinola said the message behind the product aligns with her own views on self-worth and empowerment.
Hebeskin founders Penelope Cadeliña and Jazmine Gonzales spoke about their commitment to advancing both beauty and well-being. “This is just the beginning,” Cadeliña said. “There are many beautiful possibilities ahead.”
Montinola believes confidence also comes from understanding and accepting one’s individuality. “You may not be like everyone else, but there’s something unique about you,” she said. “Know yourself — that’s your best defense.”
Hebeskin’s campaign moves beyond surface-level ideals, promoting a view of confidence that is developed through awareness, wellness, and support.
