Launches iX1 and iX2 Crossover EVs
BMW Philippines continues to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) offerings with the launch of two stylish crossovers: the iX1 and iX2. Priced at P3.99 million and P4.29 million, respectively, these models mark a significant addition to the local electric lineup.
The BMW iX1, which made its initial appearance in June 2022, combines the brand’s classic crossover aesthetics with contemporary features. Its signature kidney grille, subtly accented with blue to denote its electric nature, is flanked by sleek LED headlights. Under the hood, the iX1 is powered by a fifth-generation 64.8 kWh battery that produces 204 horsepower and 247 Nm of torque, allowing it to reach a top speed of 170 km/h. Its impressive range varies between 430 to 478 kilometers, based on driving conditions.
Meanwhile, the iX2 showcases a more aggressive design, characterized by sharper lines and a robust front fascia. Also equipped with the same battery and motor as the iX1, the iX2 offers a slightly higher torque output of 250 Nm and a comparable range of 439 to 478 kilometers.
Both models come equipped with BMW’s state-of-the-art Live Cockpit Plus, featuring a 10.25-inch digital gauge and a 10.7-inch infotainment screen. Amenities include a Harman Kardon sound system, wireless smartphone charging, and an array of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance safety and driving pleasure. The luxurious interiors boast soft-touch materials and Veganza leather upholstery, ensuring comfort for all passengers.
Aside from being covered with BMW’s 5-year factory warranty upon purchase of the said models, iX1 and iX2 owners will also receive a complimentary BMW Wallbox charger, which will be installed at their homes.
