Cebu Pacific, the Philippines’ largest airline, transported more than 1 million passengers via Clark International Airport in 2024, marking a 36 percent increase from the previous year.
The carrier’s monthly seat capacity surged by 102 percent, rising from 79,000 in January to 161,000 in December, while the number of monthly flights nearly doubled from 441 to 872 over the same period.
The airline attributed the growth to its commitment to improving travel access for passengers in central and northern Luzon, including provinces such as Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, and La Union.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer, emphasized the airline’s dedication to affordability and convenience. “The strong growth in 2024 reflects the rising demand for air travel. Cebu Pacific remains committed to meeting our customers’ evolving needs with accessible flight options,” Iyog said.
Cebu Pacific currently operates 11 routes from Clark International Airport, offering both domestic and international flights. For domestic destinations, the airline provides six weekly flights to Bohol, 21 to Caticlan (Boracay), 24 to Cebu, seven to Davao, five to General Santos, seven to Iloilo, and three to Puerto Princesa. On the international front, Cebu Pacific flies seven times weekly to Bangkok and Singapore, 14 times weekly to Hong Kong, and eight times weekly to Narita.
With its expanding network and ongoing seat sales, Cebu Pacific continues to position itself as a key player in making air travel more accessible. The airline serves 35 domestic and 26 international destinations, spanning Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
