On its 30th anniversary, Food Taipei will once again lead the movement and set the latest trends in Taiwan’s enormous food industry.
Organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the 2020 Food Taipei will be held in grand fashion at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1 and Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2 in Taipei, Taiwan, from June 17 to 20.
This six-in-one exhibition is going to be the largest-ever with as many as 5,000 booths participating in the various segments: FOOD TAIPEI, TAIPEI PACK, FOODTECH TAIPEI, Bio/Pharmatech Taiwan, Taiwan HORECA, and HALAL TAIWAN. This is the most anticipated annual event in the Asian food industry and is expected to attract more than 60,000 visitors from 110 countries, including the Philippines.
“In 2019, the Philippines ranked third among the visitors of Food Taipei, next to Japan and China. This year, we are expecting to welcome more Filipino companies and even small entrepreneurs as we are excited to showcase the latest innovations from the Taiwan Food Industry, as well as 40 other countries who will also be exhibiting their latest products,” Director Clement Chen of the Taiwan Trade Center told the media after a short briefing on March 5 at the Manila Hotel.
The 2020 Food Taipei creates a comprehensive view of the whole food supply chain covering the upstream, midstream, downstream sections of the food industry and peripheral equipment sectors. Domestic and foreign high-quality food products, food processing machinery, biotechnology, pharmaceutical equipment, packaging machinery and equipment, catering and hotel supplies, as well as halal products, will be gathered as the top food exhibition platform for people in the global food industry.
