Ian Reyes, HP’s Managing Director for Philippines and Pakistan, said that the laptops were designed with innovation in mind.

“Here at HP, keep reinventing is our northstar. It’s our guidance in how we innovate our products and services that we provide and deliver to our customers,” Reyes said.

The laptops are the HP Dragonfly, the world’s lightest compact convertible, and the HP Spectre x360,  the world’s smallest convertible laptop.

The HP Dragonfly features security, sustainability, lightweight design and resiliency.

With a weight of just under a kilogram, it gives users heightened mobility.

Its screen is embedded with a dragonfly blue finish, including a 1000-nit ultrabright display.

Public places won’t be a concern for prying eyes as its HP Sureview Gen3 reduces visibility when viewed from the sides, making the screen dark and unreadable. Its front camera has a built-in HP Privacy Camera, including a physical shutter to protect users from surveillance.

Its battery life can last up to 24.5 hours and with HP fast charge, charging can reach up to 50 percent in only 30 minutes.

Users inclined to lessen laptops’ environmental impact will be proud to use the HP Dragonfly as the materials used to build it is made with recycled materials, including ocean-bound plastics.

For a test of resiliency, the HP Dragonfly underwent 19 military-grade testing and 120,000 hours of HP testing process.

“This underwent 19 military-grade testing and 120,000 hours of HP total test process, so what you buy is designed to exceed expectations,” said Market Development for Business Notebooks Philippines and Pakistan head Katherine Redondo.

On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 features a 22-hour battery life, 4K OLED display, and a more powerful processor.

Its 4K OLED display is also powered by True Black HDR for more vibrant and stunning color visuals. Its Corning Gorilla Glass delivers a scratch-resistant display and reduces impact when accidents occur.

Its processor is powered by 10th Gen Intel® Core™processor. The processor features a 2-in-1 design such as AI, 4K HDR graphics, and best-in-class connectivity.

Both laptops are now available at HP Authorized Premier Resellers. The HP Dragonfly has a  suggested retail price of P81,440, while the HP Spectre x360 is priced at P79,990.
