Global security Philippine launched

As the country experiences a surge in economic growth and extensive investments in various infrastructure projects all over the country, the demand for safety and security products increases as well. 

Security industry’s growth prospects are good especially in the wake of a new government administration which places a strong focus on law and order The Philippines needs to spend $22.8 billion (P164 billion) on cybersecurity between 2018 and 2025 to be in line with “global best-in-class countries,” according to new research commissioned by Cisco Systems, Inc., alongside Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam among all ASEAN countries.

Catering to these domestic needs, Global Security Philippines will bring together suppliers for anti-counterfeiting solutions, information and communications technology, firearms and ammunition, border surveillance systems, CCTV, biometrics authentication technology, digital forensics, network security, and many more in one massive venue.

“The show was positioned as one of the biggest and most comprehensive trade shows dedicated to the security industry. Global Security Philippines Expo & Conference will give you access to the latest knowledge and technology in cyber security, transnational security, border management, infrastructure security, and many others,” said Jason Ng, Executive Director of MP International Pte Ltd. “This will be a venue for businesses to explore security solutions both from various local and international companies,” adds Jason Ng. The show run from August 16 to 18 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall Of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Held alongside the exhibit was a two-day Global Security Conference last Aug. 16 and 17.
