Nba.com gets new home

THE National Basketball Association and ABS-CBN Corporation, the Philippines’ leading media and entertainment organization and an official NBA broadcaster in the Philippines, today announced a partnership to operate the NBA.com/Philippines, the NBA’s official digital destination in the country.

 The online destination, hosted on the ABS-CBN Sports portal (sports.abs-cbn.com/nba), will provide Filipino fans access to daily video highlights, game recaps, scores, stats and more. The mobile optimized digital destination will also provide localized content including analysis by local celebrities and sports personalities aswell as special features focusing on the NBA’s influence on the Philippine’s lifestyle and culture.

The NBA currently has relationships with a network of television and digital media partners in the Philippines headlined by ABS-CBN, FOX Sports, and Solar that will combine to televise more than 30 live NBA games per week during the 2016-17 NBA season, which tips off Oct. 26. Leading telecommunications provider Globe Telecom also offers NBA LEAGUE PASS to its 45 million mobile and broadband customers.
