You deserve to be delighted with a new smartphone from your hard-earned savings or 13th month pay!

With Xtraordinary specs, design and long-lasting battery, HONOR 9X is a great choice if you are looking for a good photography and gaming phone.

Key specifications

•       48 MP triple camera with 16 MP pop-up camera

•      Screen size: 6.59 inches

•      Processor: Kirin 710F Octa-Core with GPU Turbo 3.0 Technology for optimized gaming experience

•     Storage space: 6 GB RAM + 128GB ROM , expandable up to 512 GB memory

•    Battery: 4000mAh

•    Weight: 197g

•    Colors: Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black

The phone boasts an eye-catching Dynamic X design where diagonal intersections in an x-like pattern become visible under the light. Our test unit is Midnight Black—a solid, classic, black color (but you can also try another variant that is Sapphire Blue).

The 6.59-inch and near bezel-less screen without a notch makes the phone beautiful, allowing the user to enjoy its 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution without distraction. HONOR 9X’s auto-brightness control proves to be sensible that makes the screen bright enough.

At the back of the phone is a circular dip in the phone’s responsive fingerprint scanner. There is also a 3.5mm headset jack on the bottom of the phone, along with a USB-C port for charging and its speaker. The speaker is clear and loud, making it suitable watch TV or listen to music out loud.

The glass body is comfortable to hold but easy to acquire smudge so we suggest using a case.

The phone’s processor Kirin 710 with GPU Turbo 3.0 Technology, combined with 6GB RAM, makes flawless, simultaneous activities such as browsing and listening to music. There's plenty of space for all photos, videos and music, thanks to its 128GB storage. You can also expand it through a micsoSD up to 512GB. But if the built-in storage is enough for you, then you can use the slot for another SIM.

The battery is a capacious 4,000mAh. Our test unit lasted up to 13 hours, while connected to WiFi and using social media apps such as Facebook, Youtube, and Viber. There are battery-saving options, too, which you can use to prolong battery life. Plus, it was fully charged for just two hours.

The camera works well, too. There are three on the rear: 48MP, wide-angle 8MP, and a 2MP depth sensor. The camera is also able to produce bokeh photos in portrait mode. The main cam also captures beautiful landscape images with its 120° super wide-angle lens fits. The night mode works fine, but some photos turned out grainy as well as blurred.

Meanwhile, the 9X can shoot videos up to 1080p at 30fps or 60fps. The videos are sharp but we still suggest using tripod to stabilize.

HONOR 9X ditched the notch for a 16MP front camera which pops out quickly. What’s likeable in this phone is that the pop-up cam is not as bumpy as other devices in the market. It gives a luxurious feel without being bulky. For selfies, the phone gives users options to choose what bokeh they prefer.

The 9X has Android 9 Pie for its operating system with the EMUI 9.1.1 skin layered over it. It also has Google services pre-installed in it, so users don’t have to worry.

The HONOR 9X, priced at P12,490, is suitable for the middle-class market who wants to make the most out of their money.

HONOR 9X will be available in all HONOR concept stores and kiosks nationwide on December 7, 2019 . If you are #UpforXtraordinary gaming and photography, you can get yours too in Lazada
