While doing nighttime photography can both be fun and exciting—especially for those who cannot resist the lure of bright lights in big cities or the unobstructed moonshine in the provinces—it can also be one of the most challenging especially when one has to deal with low light.

Overcoming low-light situations with V15 Pro
The Vivo V15 Pro’s 48 MP Triple Camera with its 12MP standard + 8MP super wide-angle + 5MP depth-sensing camera setup addresses photography issues like exposure, lowlight conditions, and sharpness with its 48 Million Quad Pixel Sensor.

Seasoned photographers have somehow mastered the manual settings for night shots to deal with low lights. Hobbyists or those who are just starting to take and like photography can sometimes get frustrated for always getting blurred images.

Smartphones today have addressed this issue and came up with cameras that can overcome low light at a certain point.

The Vivo V15 Pro’s 48 MP Triple Camera with its 12MP standard + 8MP super wide-angle + 5MP depth-sensing camera setup addresses photography issues like exposure, lowlight conditions, and sharpness with its 48 Million Quad Pixel Sensor.

This enables the V15 Pro to capture crispier, more natural-looking images. The AI (artificial intelligence) component of the camera also elevates mobile photography experiences to the next level.

While you can rely on Vivo’s 48MP Triple Camera setup, there are still some tips and tricks that you can follow to shoot like a pro.

Keep the phone camera steady

If you want to avoid the noise, make sure that your smartphone is deeply rooted onto something concrete and sturdy so it won’t shake. Invest in a reliable tripod. If a tripod is a hassle to bring, make sure that you can lean on a wall or a tree to steady your body and hands. Take a long breath then click the shutter and restrain from breathing for a few seconds.

Maximize your smartphone’s camera features

Sometimes, people tend to underuse certain features of smartphone cameras. For example, the Vivo V15 Pro has a Super Night Mode that users can find helpful for night shots or low light mode. Make sure to turn on this feature so you get that perfect skyline at night shot. There is also the HDR (High-dynamic-range imaging) feature which you can experiment on.

Shoot in bright areas to take advantage of artificial light

While the idea is to master the art of shooting in low light, it is still helpful to find spots that have a light that you can use to highlight the subject. If you’re going for silhouettes at night, make use of the streetlamps or even light coming from vehicles to give you that dramatic shot.

Use the smartphone’s manual settings

The internet has a wealth of information on what setting is perfect to shoot a subject at any time of the day. Nothing beats the feeling of getting the perfect shot with the right aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. If you are going on a trip, make sure to practice with your Vivo V15 Pro weeks before that travel date so you’ll know what settings to use.

Use filters

If all else fails, there is always a filter to suit your needs. There are also photo editing apps that will allow you to enhance your photographs so they won’t go to waste and still be usable.
