App-driven Drive breaking out of Metro Manila

Drive, an all-Filipino, app-driven car rental service is breaking out of Metro Manila and going out to the different parts of the country.

Drive, a car-rental mobile app developed by Drive Corp, a 100% Filipino-owned tech startup company, which does transport and logistics, is breaking out of Metro Manila and to the different parts of the Philippines.

A brainchild of Mike Miranda, a tech entrepreneur, who studied Computer Science from UP Los Banos and worked with Fortune 500 companies like Dell, Google, and Microsoft, said Drive is an app that doesn’t just hail you a ride to your destination, but rather hands you the keys to get there. Drive is not a taxi service, but a car rental service. You book a car, get the keys and well, drive.

The 2019 Netizen’s Choice for Best Car Rental Company in the Philippines, Drive is perfect for travellers and executives who prefer to be mobile during their vacations or business trips and take charge of their own destinations. It’s perfect for barkada outings, who would rather not leave behind beach essentials but wouldn’t want to lug around four bags to the bus terminal. It’s perfect for institutions and business that need an extra vehicle right away for that very important person.

Security is the first and foremost concern of Drive. Everyone in the network has to prove their identity through thorough a series of very thorough checks, assuring the rider that the car provider is legitimate and trustworthy, and assures the car owner, that the rider will not and cannot drive away with their vehicle.

Security is the first and foremost concern of Drive. It follows strict compliance to its KYC process, a series of thorough checks to establish identity of both renter and car owner, making a very good overall experience.

Through the app, a rider can choose a car for any occasion sorted by size, color, model, and capacity of the vehicle, all parts, and all sides shown through photos. On the other hand, the car owner can keep track of their vehicle at all times, and even alert them if it has gone beyond the agreed upon boundaries of the rental agreement.

The app’s dashboard controls are easy to use, allowing for browsing for the perfect vehicle before settling on the final choice. And for the car owner? The app keeps track of all transaction details like costs, dates, and taxes and for easier bookkeeping.

After its successful three-year run, Drive has begun an energized expansion campaign to bring the convenience of self-driven cars all over the Philippines. In the Visayas, Drive Bohol has started onboarding partners from the province of Bohol and Drive Davao in Mindanao with all the major destinations of the country in its sights.

Roam the cities, or just conquer the open road, by the seaside with windows down taking in the salt water breeze, or through the winding roads and lush green vistas that greet drivers in the provinces. Get behind the wheel and drive.
