The Good Travel Stories Competition 2025, organized by the Society for Sustainable Tourism (SST) in partnership with Green Destinations Southeast Asia, is a regional celebration of real-world sustainability in tourism. This platform recognizes inspiring initiatives by tourism enterprises—hotels, resorts, tour operators, community enterprises, and SMEs—whose practices reflect the principles of responsible travel, climate action, and  the triple bottom line: People, Planet, Profit.

(Includes Mr. Karlo Evangelista, Dr. Joshua Wong, Mr. Den Navarro, Ms. Susan Santos de Cardenas, Mr. Joegil Escobar, Ms. Patty Piedra, Mr. Dave Romano, Ms. Carmela Bocanegra and Mr. Mark Mulingbayan from left to right.)

Now more than ever, the tourism industry needs champions—voices that can inspire, educate, and influence. This the invites to Travel, News, and Lifestyle Editors, Journalists, Bloggers,  and Content Creators to become “Green Media Ambassadors” —partners in amplifying Good Travel Stories across platforms, audiences, and borders.

The support as a media advocate is vital. By sharing these stories, the media help spotlight  solutions that work, celebrate tourism that uplifts communities, and encourage others to  follow the path of sustainability.

Let us work together to inspire a better kind of travel—one story at a time.
