In a significant move towards bolstering the Philippines’ renewable energy infrastructure, LongNeng Power has initiated its first Energy Management Contract (EMC) project in the country.
This milestone project, aimed at enhancing energy sustainability, is set to be executed by Mobisolar, a leading player in the Philippine solar industry renowned for its expertise in turnkey Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects.
Just recently, President Marcos, along with the Department of Energy (DOE), emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting renewable energy adoption across the nation. President Marcos noted the importance of collaboration among stakeholders such as LGUs, renewable energy developers, and industry leaders in promoting solarization.
The project entails the installation of a 1.82 megawatt peak (MWp) photovoltaic (PV) system, expected to generate approximately 2.73 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity annually. This output will not only significantly reduce operational costs but also mitigate carbon dioxide emissions by 2730 tons annually, aligning closely with the Philippines’ independent energy policy objectives.
LongNeng Power, recognized as a foremost developer of renewable energy projects in Southeast Asia, brings extensive experience and a commitment to innovation in sustainable energy solutions. This project marks a significant expansion of their portfolio into the Philippine market, underscoring their dedication to driving positive environmental impact through strategic investments.
MOBISOLAR, on the other hand, boasts a strong reputation for delivering high-quality solar solutions tailored for commercial and industrial clients. Their comprehensive EPC services and one-stop-shop approach to PV materials ensure efficient project execution, making them an ideal partner for LongNeng’s ambitious venture in the Philippines.
Additionally, the project benefits from the involvement of C&U, a global leader in bearings production and exportation, known for its substantial contribution to the Philippine economy through job creation and technological advancement.
This collaboration between LongNeng Power, MOBISOLAR, and C&U signifies a significant step forward in advancing the Philippines’ renewable energy sector. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and economic growth, the project not only sets a precedent for future solar initiatives but also reinforces the country’s commitment to achieving energy independence and reducing carbon footprint.
At the same time, those brands are partners with MOBISOLAR to support for this and other projects in the Philippines, CS Energy Corp., RONGSTAR, ASTRO,SOFAR, SUNOVA, DAHAI SOLAR, AFORE, PROJOY, TGPRO.
