QC honors volunteers from 19 groups

THE Quezon City government will honor 19 outstanding local volunteers who have provided their services to the people.

Mayor Herbert Bautista will spearhead the city’s Local Outstanding Volunteer Awards 2017 with this year’s theme “Bulontarismo, Daan Tungo sa Pagbabago.”

This year’s awardees are the Junior Chamber International Quezon City Capitol, Lim O Chu Foundation, Quezon City Anti-Crime Advocates, Justice Cecilia Munoz Palma Foundation Inc., Legal na Ayuda para sa mga Inaapi at Dukha Inc., Children International Inc., Quezon City Library and Information Center, International Association for Volunteer Effort Philippines;

International Youth Fellowship Philippines Inc., Anti-Narcotics International Assistance Group, Confederate Sentinels Group Inc.,  Anomalya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Iligal na Droga under the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s Quezon City field office and International We Love U Foundation.

    The rest are the World Mission Society- Church of God, Philippine Red Cross-Quezon City chapter, Librarians, Teacher Librarians, E-Librarians Association, Philippine Coconut Society, Center for Leadership, Citizenship and Democracy, National College of Public Administration and Governance of the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
