Muntinlupa upgrades docs, data security

To ensure authenticity of submitted requirements and combat identity theft, the City Government of Muntinlupa is set to utilize Doxcheck Document Security System for verification of documents.

The city government, through the Business Permits and Licensing Office, signed an agreement with Doxcheck Inc., a Singapore-based company that provides proprietary technology for simplified and secure document verification and authentication, last Nov. 2.

Muntinlupa City is the first local government unit to avail of the security system.

Mayor Jaime Fresnedi said the partnership will speed up the process of issuance and verification of business permits and protect the welfare of business owners in Muntinlupa.

“The local government takes authenticating of documents in a higher notch as we aspire to be the benchmark of good governance and ease of doing business in the country,” Fresnedi said.
