Actress Kim Chiu graced the 2024 ContentAsia Awards in Taiwan as one of the nominees for the Best Female Lead in a TV Programme/Series award, alongside other Filipino nominees in various categories.
Although she did not win the award, the actress showcased her timeless style and turned heads on the red carpet, wearing a black gown by renowned Filipino designer Francis Libiran.
The gown featured a tube top adorned with beads and black floor-length fabric drapes, creating a sophisticated silhouette. The actress proudly represented the country during the awards night with her show-stopping look.
Reflecting on her experience, Chiu expressed her delight at having the opportunity to represent the country, a chance she had never anticipated.
“Thank you #ContentAsiaAwards2024 for the nomination. It is my first time being recognized as an Asian actress,” the actress said in her Instagram post.
“What an amazing experience to be in one room with all the creatives, directors, actors, actresses, producers, channel heads, and many more across Asia,” she added.
Chiu received the nomination for her performance in the hit show Linlang, which also starred Kaila Estrada, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Programme/Series. Both Chiu and Estrada presented awards at the event.
