Global music icon and businesswoman Rihanna has announced the release of an upcoming short film on the YouTube channel of her beauty brands, “Fenty Skin” and “Fenty Beauty.”

In a post on her Instagram account, Rihanna shared a short video showing several clips of herself with her husband, rapper A$AP Rocky. Some of the clips featured products from Rihanna’s skincare line. “Born To Steal: Yours, Mine, Ours,” the singer said in the post’s caption, alluding to the short film’s title.

The upcoming short film is not the singer’s first foray into acting. Aside from her successful career in music and business, Rihanna has also previously dabbled in film, landing roles in titles such as “Battleship,” “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets,” “Ocean’s 8,” and “Guava Island.

Rihanna also played the role of Marion Crane for the fifth and final season of the psychological horror drama television series, “Bates Motel.”

While many fans were excited to watch the short film, some expressed disappointment after finding out that the post was for Rihanna’s beauty brands and that she was not releasing new music.
