Pinoys are surely no stranger to cooking. Our exquisite love for food has already been integrated into the Filipino culture and heritage since time immemorial, thus giving birth to numerous delicious Filipino dishes. These appetizing meals are served especially for occasions such as fiestas, family reunions, friendly gatherings, Christmas and so much more!

As Filipinos commonly share their passion for food, we might also want to gift our loved ones with luscious noodles this coming holiday season so as to present something unique, yet so dearly close to our hearts!

Excellent

Excellent pancit canton

Its Pancit Canton variety even has Chef Claude Tayag’s recipe for Pancit Canton Especial with Chicken Sausage.

Its products are Pancit Canton and Canton Bihon for cooking, or if you want the best of both worlds, there’s also a Canton-Bihon in one noodle pack! It also has a Whole Wheat Pancit Canton for a healthier alternative for those who are more conscious of their food choices!

Other choices are Pancit Palabok, Misua sticks, Cornstarch Stick Bihon, Spaghetti, Macaroni and Miki. The Macaroni can be acquired big or small; in tubes or shells, and as salad. It also has different Miki options such as Miki-Lomi, Miki-Mami, Miki-Pino, Miki-Yumi.

It surely is the go-to noodles for everyone as it even has instant products to immediately satisfy your hunger on-the-go! These are available in their new “Watanoodle” products which are non-fried instant noodles in Fresh Miki-Lomi style in scrumptious flavors such as Seafood Miso, Beef Yakiniku, and Chicken Ramen in Sesame Oil.

If you can wait for a few more minutes, it also has Instant Bam-i Canton-Bihon, Mami in chicken and beef, and Pancit Canton in Calamansi Flavor.

Furthermore, it also exports internationally with first-rate products such as Rice Stick Bihon, Cornstarch Stick Bihon, and Flour Stick Pancit Canton.

Ideal

Ideal pasta

This really is one of the “ideal” brands when preparing delectable pasta! Since 1948, it has been serving gourmet noodles, which have been a treat for those in restaurants, hotels, catering and other food services.

One of the premier brands in the Philippines, it is strong in the industry for 70 years and is currently being sold in retail and wholesales for popular outlets in the Philippines. The Ideal Macaroni and Spaghetti Factory Inc. has numerous heavenly variants such as macaroni, salad macaroni, penne rigate, fusilli, rigatoni, fettuccine, linguine, spaghetti, and capellini.

Super Q

Another kitchen staple whenever there are food gatherings, Super Q has a lot of varied options in stock such as Corn-starched and Wheat-based noodles which are mostly used when cooking.

Included in the corn-starched based are the Golden Bihon and the Special Palabok. The Bihon is produced in controlled environments through a proprietary process so that the soft, smooth and yet bouncy and distinct flavors are still well-intact; this will surely make you slurp your noodles loud with a satisfying grin on your face afterwards!

The wheat-based ones are Pancit Canton for deep frying, Misua or Flour Vermicelli; Streamed, Egg and Miki or Hokkien noodles. The Misua has long fine strands which are circular in shape; the Chinese like to eat it as it is the symbol for long life for them. The streamed and egg noodles do not undergo frying unlike the instant ones. There are regular Classic Miki noodles or Japanese Ramen, but if you want flat Japanese Mami noodles or thick Lomi noodles, these are on the market, too.

San Remo

For those looking for a foreign brand, San Remo is from a family-owned Australian company since its foundation in 1936. It has the knowledge of combining the traditional way of producing pasta with the most modern techniques available to man to process the best quality Durum wheat.

Surely of premium quality and taste, it exports to 35 countries all throughout the world. It has various kinds of tasty pasta such as short, long; fresh pasta, egg pasta; cous cous, gluten free, specialty; for side dishes, and baking; along with delightful and savory sauces.

Royal

Royal spaghetti

For those who prefer something that’s more affordable and yet still yummy and enjoyable to the taste, then Royal pasta is the one for you! Commonly used by people as the main ingredient in their sweet Filipino-style spaghetti, it also has different options for pasta if spaghetti is not to your preference such as elbow and salad macaroni, penne rigate, and Linguine. It also has exceptional sauces such as Sweet style, Filipino style, and 4 cheese.
