The Women Committee Chairs

The House of Representatives under Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has seen numerous changes in only a short span of time.

Since taking the reigns back in July, SGMA has pushed President Rodrigo Duterte’s legislative agenda to near completion. This goes without saying that indeed, with its first woman speaker in the driver’s seat, the lower House of Congress is a Working House.

But it’s worthy to note as well, that behind Speaker Arroyo, numerous women legislators have contributed to this overhaul in the House’s complexion of hard work.

Let’s get to know more about them, especially the women committee chairs of the 17th Congress.
