The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Bukidnon recently held a “Kamustahan” meeting with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Kalilangan, led by Mayor Raymon Charl Gamboa, to discuss progress on ongoing projects under the Community Empowerment through Science and Technology (CEST) program.
Provincial S&T director Ritchie Mae Guno also introduced innovative DOST technologies aligned with Kalilangan’s development goals, including the 21st Century Learning Environment Model, Versatile Instrumentation System for Science Education and Research (VISSER), and DOST courseware. Mayor Gamboa expressed strong support for initiatives that uplift the education sector, a key priority for the municipality. Through CEST, DOST continues to provide solutions and opportunities for communities to thrive.
