Ex-OFW brings back a taste of memories

The year of 2019 will be remembered forever as it was marked by a pandemic and a financial crisis. Richard Regaspi, who was an overseas Filipino worker in the United Arab Emirates, had to return home as he lost his job. His years abroad tasting new flavors made him crave and look for similar options at home, but he couldn’t find an authentic taste able to bring memories of good times.

Jobless with plenty of time and a passion for good food, he decided to make his way into the food industry and was surprisingly successful.

His humble beginnings took place at a little kitchen in Bacoor, Cavite, and now he operates his first branch of the Golden Rice Hyderabadi Biryani found at Devour Food Hub PH in Quezon City.

One of Richard’s landmark dishes is the Biryani cooked in a steaming pot. Made with the finest Indian fragrant spices such as saffron, cardamom, and nutmeg, and using high-quality “Golden Rice” Basmati rice, this Hyderabadi Biryani will definitely blow your mind! The recipe was perfected until it reached an incredible flavor and soft aroma alongside meats like lamb, goat, or chicken and will make every bite a delightful and unforgettable experience.

For those who like to try different food choices, Richard says you can also enjoy Papadam, Naan Bread Plain and Garlic, Onion Pakora and many more.

Finally, if you are planning to surprise your family or friends with excellent food, Golden Rice Hyderabadi Biryani is the best place, as meal sizes are big enough to share at affordable prices. The restaurant’s atmosphere is cool and vibrant and also follows strict hygiene protocols, assuring a comfortable and safe stay.
