While the battle against COVID-19 is fought primarily at medical facilities, a different battle is fought in the streets as frontliners along the city borders continue to monitor and regulate the inflow and outflow of people to help contain the spread of the corona virus.
Seeing the need to protect these brave frontliners, Manila Water Foundation (MWF) and Dragon Edge Group, makers of Beach Hut Sunblock, and other personal care products, collaborated to donate 540 bottles of alcohol for the Philippine National Police personnel manning the city parameters.
Meanwhile, a group of friends from Ateneo de Davao High School Batch 1996, also tapped MWF to donate 27 cases of 350ml Healthy Family Purified Water to help hydrate the said enforcers who work tirelessly under the sun.
Manila Water Company’s Fleet Management provided logistical support to make the handover possible.
Thanks to collaborations such as these, more people are protected and kept safe during this time of pandemic.
