Clark Freeport – To send positivity and support to their fellow nurses and frontline workers in the fight against COVID-19, the Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines (OHNAP) – Clark Chapter took together a dance cover of a popular song and provided treats to front liners inside this Freeport.

SWEET TREATS FOR CLARK HEROES.  To honor the sacrifices of their fellow frontliners, members of the Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philipiines (OHNAP) – Clark Chapter distribute simple treats to frontline workers inside Clark Freeport Zone. (Photo courtesy: OHNAP Clark Chapter)

Sharing ‘good vibes’ to all workers who are taking the lead to combat the pandemic, OHNAP-Clark Chapter members dance their way to the beat of the “Fight Song” popularized by Rachel Platten. The video which was also shared in Clark Development Corporation (CDC) Facebook page garnered 3300 views and 26 shares as of writing.

Aside from the video, OHNAP-Clark Chapter also distributed 200 pieces of treats to front line personnel working in the Freeport. These were given to workers on various medical facilities here including The Medical City Clark, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Clark, and CDC Health and Sanitation Division. Security personnel deployed at the gates of this Freeport were also given treats.

According to OHNAP-Clark, the initiative is one of their programs which aim to motivate and continuously provide opportunities to their fellow nurses and health personnel.

OHNAP – Clark Chapter is a non-profit and non-stock organization of nurses working in various industries including government and non-government institutions. It is currently led by its officers composed of Swinky Capili, Kim Bito, Dina David, Precious Quintos, Jerald Mendoza, and Jaime Tauyan Jr.

It can be recalled that the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF-EID), through a televised briefing last April 7, Secretary Karlo Nograles also urged and enjoined the public to continue showing support and appreciation to workers who put their life on the line amidst the crisis.
