One of the beneficiaries, Ms. Turiana Suarez, a resident of San Benito, Lipa City, received ₱50,000.00 in medical assistance to help her family cover her hospital expenses. The assistance was requested through the Office of the Chairman and was personally handed over by the Chairman, reaffirming the agency’s unwavering dedication to bringing hope and relief to Filipinos in their most difficult moments.

In addition, a total of 2,000 Charitimba were distributed to residents of Barangays San Benito, Sto. Toribio, San Francisco, and San Celestino in Lipa City, most of whom were senior citizens. The outreach likewise extended support to education, with 80 college students from the same barangays receiving educational assistance to help them pursue their academic goals.

PCSO officials emphasized that the program aligns with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s directive to bring government programs and services closer to the people, particularly to those who need them most. Through initiatives like this, PCSO continues to strengthen its role as a partner of Filipinos in promoting welfare, resilience, and hope for a better future.

This outreach activity was implemented under PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which underscores the agency’s sustained commitment to inclusive development, social equity, and nation-building by ensuring that vital assistance reaches communities where it is needed most.
