The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) provided 300 emergency ‘grab-and-go’ bags to the residents of Barangay Buayang Bato in Mandaluyong City on Monday, Feb. 24,2025.
These go-bags contain essential items that can be used during disasters or emergencies.
Given the proximity of Barangay Buayang Bato to the Pasig River, the contents of the go-bags will help ensure the safety of residents during unexpected events, such as severe flooding due to heavy rains.
Kagawad Ralph Ronald Nobela expressed his gratitude to the PCSO for providing the emergency go-bags.
“This is a significant step towards creating a safer and more prepared community to face challenges. These go-bags are expected to be beneficial to the residents and provide security during calamities,” said Nobela.
This initiative is part of the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Its goal is to assist those in need and promote the well-being of communities nationwide. It demonstrates the PCSO’s dedication to public service and helping Filipinos in need.
