Filinvest Malls, in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), officially opened the DFA NCR South Consular Office at Festival Mall, Alabang today, February 10, 2025. This new facility enhances access to essential government services, providing passport and apostille services to residents of Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, and nearby provinces Cavite, Laguna, and Batangas.
Located at the West Wing, 3rd Floor, the 800 square-meter consular office is the only DFA facility south of Metro Manila. Operating from 10 AM to 5 PM, it offers a convenient alternative for individuals and businesses seeking consular services without traveling to other parts of the metro.
A Strategic Public-Private Partnership
The inauguration was attended by DFA Assistant Secretary for Consular Affairs Hon. Adelio Angelito Cruz; Muntinlupa City Mayor Ruffy Biazon; Former Ambassador of the Philippines to Singapore and Chairman of FREIT Fund Managers Inc. Joseph M. Yap; Filinvest Land, Inc. President & CEO Tristan Las Marias; and First Vice President & Retail Business Unit Head, Filinvest Malls Mitch Dumlao. The event highlighted the value of public-private partnerships in improving service accessibility.
