As no institution thrives in isolation, DA-BPI operates within an interconnected ecosystem of farmers, institutions, researchers, and collaborators, fostering growth and innovation to strengthen Philippine agriculture.

The accomplishments of 2024 reflect BPI’s steadfast commitment to increasing agricultural production, enhancing training and extension services, strengthening research and regulatory functions, and expanding export opportunities through technological innovation.

Looking ahead to 2025, Secretary Laurel called upon the men and women of BPI to continue their vital work by focusing on key priorities:

• Advancing crop research through tissue culture and biodiversity preservation.
